These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of THE WAY, the online learning platform operated by Diana Brook Ltd trading as the Welsh Academy of Yoga (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England & Wales (company number 10234272) with registered office at Pontyclun, Rhondda Cynon Taf, CF72 9WE. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use THE WAY. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that takes place under it. We use passwordless “magic link” sign-in, so keep access to your email account secure. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
THE WAY provides access to yoga teacher training content, CPD immersions, learning resources, progress tracking and community features. Access to specific programmes (for example the 200-Hour Foundation Programme) is granted to enrolled trainees only. We may add, change or remove features over time.
All course materials, including videos, sequences (such as the 12 Rivers sequence), manuals, images and text, are owned by us or our contributors and are protected by copyright. They are provided for your personal learning only.
CPD hours are banked toward the relevant certificate when an immersion is completed and, where a course is delivered in person, confirmed by us. Hours and certificates are awarded at our discretion in line with our training standards. They do not by themselves confer any external accreditation unless we state otherwise.
You agree not to:
We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules.
Where a programme or immersion is paid for, the price and what is included are set out at the point of purchase. No refunds, credits or transfers are available on cancellation of a course, whether before, during or after the start date. This does not affect any statutory cancellation or refund rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.
For the 200-Hour Foundation Programme, on acceptance of your application a £500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on the course. The deposit forms part of the total course fee and is not refundable if you subsequently withdraw. Where you opt to pay the balance by our payment plan, each instalment is payable on the 1st of each month and we will be in touch to set this up.
We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Access may be suspended for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control.
Yoga and movement practices carry inherent physical risk. You are responsible for practising safely and within your own limits and for seeking medical advice where appropriate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the content, except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You may stop using THE WAY and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes we will let you know. Continuing to use the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
